Biktima

Case # 1:

In recent calamity in Philippines where most of us were shocked and devastated sa kinahinatnan ng bansa, worried over our families back home and kababayan who struggled to survive the continuous rain, hunger and cold weather. Reading insensitive remarks will surely raise chaos in web community. Specially this one…

“buti na lang am hir in dubai! Maybe so many sinners bak der! So yeah deserving wat hapend!”

.. after replied by some of our kababayan, she responded…

"cuz of u dnt understand!!!judge me sige!!! kya ala kayong asenso.even nature now is making statement big time!!!"

Oh well, ng mabasa ko to kanina super nagpanting ang tenga ko and even commented na “avah lecheng babae yan, nakatuntong lang ng abroad e di na marunong lumingon sa pinanggalingan”.. following the links, I managed to get her multiply account.. and from there kumalat na hacked or somebody created an account for her for whatever reason.  Sobrang laki siguro ng galit dun sa tao… the multiply account is still active, if I were in that lady’s shoe, kanina pa terminated ang account na yun.. sobrang sirang-sira na ang pagkatao nya.. medyo nakakaduda din na account nya nga to because she's not taking any actions... mmmmm... lalabas din ang katotohanan sa bandang huli heheh :P

Victim ba sya ng hacking or she’s just caught kaya she used it as scapegoat?

Case # 2:

My actual letter of complaint to cab management and was actually responded (but looks like a standard reply, mmmm its ok as long as they will take action):

The whole trip was fine, the driver and I sometimes exchanged stories along the way. But during the payment, I was so displeased with driver's attitude for I paid by credit card. He strongly showed his disappointment to me, he told me that if he only knew that I won't pay cash, he won't pick me up. He also told me that he can only get the payment on Wednesday because of weekend and holiday, asked me how can he pay for petrol. And was told that he thinks I owe him money because he'll help me to unload my baggage. I did not bring cash with me intentionally as I do not want to carry money going overseas trip for security reasons. I suggest that the management should re-orient the drivers not to stress their frustrations to their passengers, I would not know that the payment transaction could take that long and would be disadvantage for drivers. If that's the case, then better take it off from the payment option, rather than hearing such sentiments early morning before my holiday trip. I am hoping that the management will take action on this to improve the service quality, you’ve highlighted in your website that payment by NETS or credit card is for customer’s convenience but seems its not.

Sino ba ang victim dito, Ako o ang Driver?

Case # 3:

It's also a one-way communication, si Maria lang ang tumatawag kay Pedro.

This is a very dangerous game to play.

Lessons Learned from Mizuno Wave Run - 16 km run

1. Bring hydration belt.

There were 5 water points with 2.5 km interval. The 1st 2 water points were still full of bottled water, but reaching 3rd and 4th water points – cooler with ice na lang ang natira, as in goodbye water. I saw one auntie took ice and sip it, one guy lie down on the pathway probably by dehydration assisted by marshal. Imagine running for 5 km under the heat of the sun and still unsure if there’s water in the next water point or if there will be another water point. Water points were not in indicated in the route map, unlike other runs. Luckily, there’s convenient stores around the gasoline stations but unlucky for those who did not bring money. On the last water point, there’s still few bottled water and 1.5L H20. Reading the running forum afterwards, I learned that they ran out of disposable cups so the marshal asked people to pass around the bottle basta wag lang daw sasayad sa labi, duh hello naman sa hygiene! Thanks to my hydration belt at di ko na-experience ito.

2. Apply Sun block with higher SPF.

I only used SPF15, grrrr! I should have used my SPF70 – ang lagkit kasi e! Result lang naman after run is para akong galing sa beach. When I took out my wrist band, shorts and singlet, ayun ang tan (este black) lines sobrang obvious. Or maybe I should have bring and apply while running. I felt my skin was so dry, we finished the run at past 10am talagang super tirik ng araw.

3. Tie shoe lace properly and wear dri-fit socks.

I got blisters and blood clot on toe nail! As in the big toe nails, both feet! I also joined Yellow Ribbon Prison Run  1 week prior MWR, it’s a 5 enjoyable km run. Pero sumakit yung toe ko on left foot because I tied the shoe lace tightly. So as countermeasure, I loosen the lace for MWR and it caused me more pain! I was told that the sock also contributes, so next time I’ll use dri-fit socks instead of cotton socks.

4. Take out the tag from the shorts

After the long run, I took shower from Nanyang Poly. When the water flowed into my body, “Hmmmm bakit kaya ang hapdi ng likod ko?” I did not feel a thing when I was running, pero bakit now ang hapdi? Grrrrrrrrr. I looked into my shorts – its just an ordinary Cotton On shorts – and I was stupidly clueless na that darn tag at the back could cause me so much peklat.

I never dreamed of participating any running event.  My only goal was to actively jog on a weekly basis to maintain my weight and built. It was just my boredom that led me to post fafi's events in this site's calendar. It was Ann who triggered me to join the Running world and am very glad she dragged me into this. :D

http://kutinggg.multiply.com/calendar/item/10017/Saucony_100_Plus_PAssion_Run_2009

Joining running events made me (for now):

~ motivated to run every week - be it around the block, ovals or tread mill (no fail toh!).

~ not to think of drinking liquor - to avoid dehydration

~ not to smoke - not to affect my breathing

I am living a healthy life now weeeeeh! And sana tuloy tuloy to :P

Before my very first run, I was very nervous and not confident to reach the finish line.. why? kasi naman during my practice, I can only run for few rounds in oval (wala pang 2km), spent 5 minutes in tread mill, etc. There was a time fafi and I jogged together, I am trying to catch his pace - result: pinagpapawisan ako ng malamig and feels like fainting. whew!

Fafi is a bit crazy of my new hobby.. told me that running is supposed to be the cheapest among other sports.. but then, I am spending too much buying running apparel, gears, sunglass, etc. not to mention the registration fees for each run. eh baket ba, trip ko gumastos eh, at least may pinupuntahang maayos ang pera ko ngayon haha! am planning of buying heart rate monitor watch and running shoes :P

Oh well, i'll start to write my running blog in every events I joined or will join.. sabi nga nila, every run is designed to offer a different experience. naks! weeeh!

What's your problem, man? Insecure?

http://abs-cbnnews.com/entertainment/07/16/09/freddie-wont-apologize-charice-and-arnel

MANILA - Despite negative reactions to singer Freddie Aguilar’s comment that foreigners call most Filipino singers who ape foreign acts “monkeys," he still won't apologize to Charice Pempengco and Arnel Pineda of Journey Band for his opinion.

“Bakit ako mag-a-apologize? I am speaking out the truth so why do I have to apologize? It’s my opinion and I am entitled to one. I am fighting for the truth,” the folk singer says bravely and firmly.

He says he doesn’t mind being unpopular.

He thanks other Filipino artists who have remained nationalistic like Heber Bartolome, Joey Ayala, Noel Cabangon, Gary Granada and many more.

Facebook mania

It's been a while since nag-hibernate mode ako sa multiply.. reason - kina career ang facebook...
Sa kabila ng lahat ng to.. i'm still bored... and it's killing me....
